This series is first because it is simply magnificent! J.K. Rowling manages to create a story that transcends any age group. This series will always be my favorite and I will never be ashamed to say that I have read this series!

I kind of cheated and did more than two sentence but I'm on page 203 and this is by far my favorite quote so far and I couldn't bear the thought of not putting all of it.

The Giver is a great choice. Choice, to me, seems important to teens. Let's give teens more choice. Less required reading.

Great list. I included many of the same books and have decided I need to read The Perks of Being a Wallflower since I have seen it on several list today.
ReplyDeleteI have been putting off the Mortal Instruments series for some reason, even though they come highly recommended. After they "threatened to kill him with a candelabra" teaser though I may have to bump it up ASAP!! That's fab!
